From 1969-1987, Henry Schaefer was a professor of chemistry at the University of California, Berkeley, where he and Charles Bender discovered, contrary to experiment, \u00a0the bent structure of triplet methylene.\u00a0 His scientific recognition includes six awards from the American Chemical Society, namely Pure Chemistry, Leo Hendrik Baekeland, Ira Remsen, Theoretical Chemistry, Peter Debye Award in Physical Chemistry, and the Charles H. Stone Award.\u00a0 \u00a0With his group of 123 successful PhD.\u00a0students (15 in progress) and many post-doctorals, Schaefer is the author of 1600 scientific publications, garnering more than 72,000 citations and an H-Index of 120.\u00a0 His research develops new theoretical and computational methods to solve important problems in chemistry.<\/span><\/p>\nDr. Schaefer is the Graham Perdue Professor of Chemistry and Director of the Center for Computational Quantum Chemistry, University of Georgia. He is one of the leading computational quantum chemists in the world. He is married to Karen and they have four children and six grandchildren.<\/span><\/p>\n <\/p>\n

The Rev. Canon Henry P. Jansma, Ph.D. has lived in the United States and in England. Prior to planting All Souls Anglican (Cherry Hill NJ) \u00a0in 2014, Henry also served in The Church of England\u00a0(1991-2001) and The Episcopal Church (2001-2013). Since 2013 he has been canonically resident in the Anglican Diocese of the Living Word, Anglican Church in North America (ACNA).\u00a0Henry was appointed Canon Theologian for the Diocese in 2014.<\/span><\/p>\n[\/et_pb_team_member][et_pb_team_member name=”Dr. Liam Goligher” image_url=”https:\/\/anglicanconnection.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/03\/liam-goligher.jpg” disabled_on=”off|off|off” _builder_version=”4.16″ global_colors_info=”{}”]<\/p>\n
Dr. Liam Goligher began serving as Senior Minister at Tenth Presbyterian Church in April 2011. Before this he pastored churches in Ireland, Canada, Scotland, and London. He has authored several books including “Joseph – The Hidden Hand of God.”\u00a0Liam is married to Christine and they have five children and eleven grandchildren.<\/p>\n

Rico Tice is the Senior Minister (Evangelism) at All Souls, Langham Place in London. Joining in 1994 during the later years of the ministry of John Stott, his main role is to help the hundreds of enquirers about the Christian faith who come through the doors of the church each year. He has also developed the Christianity Explored course, which introduces people to Jesus through studying the Gospel of Mark. <\/span><\/p>\nBorn in Chile in 1966, to the son of a businessman and a nurse, Rico grew up in Uganda and Zaire. He studied history at Bristol University and trained for ordination at Wycliffe College, Oxford (when he wasn\u2019t playing rugby.)<\/span><\/p>\nRico continues to inspire believers to share their faith in Jesus, and develop new course material through an active teaching and equipping ministry. In 2011, the 3<\/span>\u200b <\/span>Edition of Christianity Explored was published. Over 10,000 courses per year now run globally across the denominational spectrum in excess of 100 countries and the material has been translated into more than 50 languages.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n

September 2016 saw the launch of a new resource from CEM called \u2018Life Explored\u2019, which unpacks sin through the lens of idolatry. It\u2019s a series of 7 weeks, with an introductory silent film, that tells a story of somebody chasing an idol. The guests can then reflect on the story, as we move into a walk through the Bible from Genesis 1, week 1 to Revelation 21\/22, week 7.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Other than rugby, Rico’s hobbies include playing golf and watching films. Jason is Senior Pastor of Central Presbyterian Church, located on Park Avenue at 64th Street in New York City.\u00a0 Jason joined the church as Director of Church Renewal in 2011 and was called to serve as Senior Pastor in 2013.\u00a0 Under his leadership, the church has grown from a dwindling congregation into a culturally diverse church community of professionals, families, students, and artists with a weekly Sunday attendance of nearly 500.\u00a0 In addition, Jason has overseen a full restoration of Central’s neo-Gothic “little cathedral,” originally constructed in 1922.<\/span><\/p>\nJason was raised in New Canaan, Connecticut and was educated at the Brunswick School.\u00a0 He graduated from Princeton University\u00a0magna cum laude<\/em>\u00a0with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Art and Archaeology and from Princeton Theological Seminary with a Master of Divinity degree.\u00a0 Previously, Jason served as the founding Campus Minister for Reformed University Fellowship (RUF) at Northwestern University and worked as an analyst for Morgan Stanley in New York City.<\/p>\nJason met his wife, Ashley, at Princeton University where she studied Economics and Japanese.\u00a0 Ashley subsequently received a J.D. degree from Columbia University Law School. Jason and Ashley have four children, Luke, Olivia, Eliza, and Charlotte.<\/p>\n

Bishop Felix Orji was born in Abia State, Nigeria. Early in his life, he heard the call of God to trust in our Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior\u00a0and to serve him as the Lord of his life. In time by God\u2019s\u00a0grace he answered the Lord\u2019s call and has endeavored to follow and serve Christ by the mercy of God in Nigeria, Canada, and the USA.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\nWhile in Nigeria, he was involved in Evangelism, Follow-up, and Village evangelism ministries at the University of Ife; was the Evangelism\u00a0Co-ordinator for the Youth Corps Christian Fellowship in Jos while teaching at the Airforce Cadet School for his Youth service (NYSC); and then President of the Postgraduate Fellowship at the University of Lagos before leaving to teach briefly at the College of Agriculture, Umuagwo, Imo State.<\/p>\n
He completed a BA.Ed degree at the University of Ife(OAU) in Ile-Ife, Oyo State, Nigeria, and received a Master\u2019s degree in Educational Administration at the University of Lagos, Nigeria. He earned a Diploma in Christian Studies from Regent College, Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada), and a Master of Divinity from Vancouver School of Theology in Canada. Bishop Orji also earned a Doctorate in Leadership from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, USA. He was recently granted a Doctor of Divinity (Honoris Causa).<\/p>\n
Bishop Orji was ordained in 1996 in the Anglican Church of Canada and served at St. Johns Shaughnessy in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada), the largest evangelical Anglican parish in Canada. In 2004, he moved to the USA where he served as the Rector of St. John\u2019s Episcopal Church in Alamogordo, NM; also the Moderator of the Anglican Fellowship of the Southwest; and later on as the Rector of St. Francis on the Hill Episcopal Church in\u00a0El Paso, TX\u00a0until he and his parish left The Episcopal Church and joined the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) through CANA in 2008. In March\u00a02011, the Rev\u2019d Canon Dr.\u00a0Felix Orji was elected Bishop by the Church of Nigeria which led to him becoming the Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of West in North America on behalf of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion)\/CANA. The Diocese of the West(CANA) is a diocese with parishes in the USA and Canada.<\/p>\n
Recently, the Primate of the Church of Nigeria (Anglican Communion) appointed, Bishop Felix Orji, the Missionary Bishop of the Convocation of Anglicans in North America (CANA) in addition to his portfolio as the Diocesan Bishop of the Diocese of the West.<\/p>\n
Bishop Orji is the Bishop Protector of the Order of St. Benedict (Anglican Communion Benedictines) in the USA and an alumni member of the FBI Citizens Academy (FBICAAA). He is the author of a book titled \u201cMoral Leadership in the Church: A Normative Approach\u201d.<\/p>\n
In the gracious providence of God, the Rt. Rev. Dr. Orji and his wife Lilian have four children: Cara, John, Jadon, and Justin.<\/p>\n
